From the London Advertiser.
WHO'S THE NOODLE. A NEW SONG.
I sing of George of olden days,
Not George the first or second;
Tho' they deserve the nation's praise,
With this they can't be reckon'd:
For he beyond compare is known,
God bless him he so wise is,
That every day he fills the throne,
His wisdom higher rises.
  Yankee doodle, who's the noodle?
  Bonny Scotchmen boast him;
  Every tory sings his glory,
  And in bumpers toast him.
. . . [4 Verses with burden, "Yankee doodle, &c."]
